Civil Service Exam Coverage

If you are planning to secure a permanent job in any government office, a Civil Service Eligibility is necessary.

The Civil Service Commission grant eligibility under Special Laws and CSC issuances (see link of individuals exempted to take CSE here).But most of those who aspire to work in the government services take Civil Service Exam.

There are two types of test being given by the CSC.

1.     Professional 

Number of test items – 170

Duration – 3 hours and 10 minutes

Coverage – English, Math, General Information, Analogies and Logical Reasoning

2.     Sub-professional

Number of test items – 170

Duration – 3 hours and 10 minutes

Coverage – English, Math, General Information, Analogies and Logical Reasoning

Professional Exam allows you to take first and level positions in the government which include scientific, technical and professional jobs. Meanwhile, Sub-professional passers could take clerical, trades, crafts and custodial works at any government offices.
