LET Application Guide (BLEPT September 2018)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will be holding another Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT), also known as Licensure Examination for Teachers or LET, on September 2018.

Good news is that aspiring teachers have still enough time to prepare and submit their application to PRC as the next LET is scheduled as follows:

ONLINE APPLICATION

The PRC built a separate website to make the application easier for everyone. The website is not only for would-be teachers but also dedicated to all board exams applicants.

The following are the requirements for online application:

• Working email address
• Mobile number
• 2 x 2 ID picture in white background and .jpeg format
• Community Tax Certificate issued on 2018
• P900 application fee

So here’s how to submit your application online:

1. With your computer or tablet with reliable internet connection, go to Licensure Examination and Registration Information System.

2.  If you have already registered in the past, you may click the sign in tab. Otherwise, register using personal information and active email address.

3. Log in using your username and password.

4. Provide the personal details required and your 2 x 2 photo.

5. Choose your preferred PRC Office where you opt to submit your application and documents. Then choose your preferred date.

PAYMENT

1. Still with LERIS, Select your preferred payment method. You will have the option to pay:

     - Bayad Center

     - Multipay

     - 7-Eleven

     - ECPay

2. Take note of your reference number as you will be using it when you pay your application fee.

3. Pay the application fee.

4. Go back to LERIS and verify your account status at the EXISTING TRANSACTION tab.

5. Print the application form.

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS

LERIS is only the first part of your application. You still need to submit your application form and documents at your chosen PRC office and preferred date.

Do not forget to bring the following at your appointment:

• Original and Photocopy of Transcript of Records With:

-     Special Order (SO)

-     Date of graduation

-     Seal of the school

-     Scanned picture

-     Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes Only” (CHED recognition and permit to operate for graduates of new schools/programs)

• Original and Photocopies of PSA Authenticated Birth Certificate
• PSA Marriage Contract for female applicants
• Documentary Stamp  

That’s it. You will now be scheduled for the September 2018 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). You just have to keep your Notice of Admission (NOA) and wait for the release of your room assignment a week before the exam.
